Anti Gravity yoga is the most popular aerial yoga. It involves performing a series exercises inspired by yoga asana, Pilates, calisthenics and aerial acrobatics in a hammock, in order to achieve a total body workout.

A special kind of hammock which can support up to 300 kilos of weight. The rig consist of support chain, a webbing strap, a parachute hammock and carabineers. The hammock acts like a swing, supporting the hips for forward bends and back bends. Yoga postures which beginners find difficult to do on the ground, such as inversion poses, may be easier in mid-air using the hammock.

Anti Gravity yoga helps body circulatory system, respiratory and digestive system by improving the blood circulation. This active exercise facilitates bending and stretching of the whole muscles and joints while strengthening and rehabilitates. The hammock helps spinal decompression as the body hanging freely off the gravity. In this way, Anti Gravity yoga is your choice to help with your back pains! 

It’s never too late to have fun! This class is suitable for all level yogis, even for you who have never tried yoga at all. For all of first timers, the key is to be aware of your movements and your breathing. You might get dizziness if you move too fast especially within the inversions. But, don’t worry and no panic! Everything is fine. You may imagine yourself as a little monkey who plays around trees.
