About Vinyasa Flow
“Vinyasa” is derived from Sanskrit term “nyasa” which means “to place” and the prefix “vi” means “in a special way”. Vinyasa Flow in common physical yoga asana practice is presented as the flowing sequence of specific asana coordinated with the flow of the breath. Thus, Vinyasa Flow is known as “breath-synchronized movements”.
The practice of Vinyasa Flow will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling within the poses. Vinyasa Flow often being choreograph and mostly consist of uninterrupted flow. The smoothly flowing sometimes almost a dance-like movements. The objective of Vinyasa Flow is to find calmness in between the storm of moving chains and find stillness within the movements.
Vinyasa Flow gain the balance of feminine and masculine energy in our body. During practice of Vinyasa Flow, the breath must be aligned with the movements. In this case, our breath must be slow and our movements will also be slow. When the breath and movement are both happen slowly, our mind will have the opportunity to recognize and more aware of what is happening at the moment. Thus, we will be able to gain more focus and concentration.
